The highly talked-about eel specialty restaurant in Namba, "Unagiya Hanamichi," celebrated the grand opening of its second location on June 1st. While maintaining the reliable "grilling" techniques perfected at the Namba store and the carefully selected high-quality eel, they have introduced a limited-edition specialty available only at the Shinsaibashi store. It is a traditional Japanese custom to eat highly nutritious eel to prevent falling ill during the change of seasons, but we decided to get an early stamina boost. Walking from Shinsaibashi to Americamura, Dotonbori, and Hozenji, I ended with breakfast at a hidden gem seat with a view of the Dotonbori River at Bikkuri Donkey.
